Westbound traffic on section of Cape Coral Pkwy E to be reduced to one lane for road work
CAPE CORAL, Fla. —
Traffic will be reduced to a single lane on Cape Coral Parkway East for approximately eight days to allow crews to complete road work.
According to the City of Cape Coral, Lee County Electric Cooperative will reduce westbound traffic on Cape Coral Parkway East to a single lane between Palm Tree Boulevard and Santa Barbara Boulevard.
The road work is scheduled to take place during daytime hours, with the roadway reopening to normal traffic by 3 p.m. each day.
Crews are slated to begin work early in the morning to help minimize traffic impacts and complete the project as quickly as possible, the city said. The goal is to complete the project in eight days, reducing the disruption from the previously anticipated 15 days.
Drivers are encouraged to use caution in the area and consider alternate routes.
