Police investigate shooting in Orlando
RIDING AT NIGHT. BACK TO YOU GUYS. ALL RIGHT, WE ARE STAYING ON TOP OF MORE BREAKING NEWS THIS MORNING. THIS IS OUT OF ORLANDO AT 907. WE KNOW POLICE ARE INVESTIGATING A REPORTED SHOOTING WESH TWO. BOB HAZEN JUST GOT TO THE SCENE. HE’S LIVE NEAR WESTMORELAND AND AMELIA STREET. BOB, I CAN SEE THE CAUTION TAPE BEHIND YOU. YEAH. AND THIS IS CHARLES COURT. IT’S A DEAD END STREET HERE RIGHT OFF OF CONCORD. AND YOU CAN SEE BEHIND ME, SEVERAL POLICE OFFICERS. THEY ALSO HAVE A PART OF THIS STREET ROPED OFF AND ACTUALLY KIND OF LOOKS LIKE THEY’RE FOCUSED ON AN AREA CLOSE TO THAT TREE LINE RIGHT THERE THAT GOES THROUGH THERE TO AMELIA STREET. SO THAT’S KIND OF WHERE WE ARE IN THE PARAMORE AREA OF ORLANDO. AT THIS POINT. WE DON’T KNOW EXACTLY WHAT TRANSPIRED HERE, BUT WE DID. WE DO KNOW THAT THEY WAS INITIALLY CALLED IN AS A SHOOTING FOR ORLANDO POLICE HAPPENED AROUND 530 THIS MORNING. AT THIS POINT, WE’RE STILL WORKING TO FIND OUT HOW MANY PEOPLE MIGHT HAVE BEEN HURT IN THAT REPORTED SHOOTING, HOW SERIOUSLY THEY WERE HURT, OR WHETHER THERE’S ANY SUSPECTS ON THE LOOSE. WE DO KNOW THAT THEY HAVE BEEN TALKING TO SOMEONE IN THE BACK OF ONE OF THESE POLICE SUVS. SO AGAIN, REPORTED SHOOTING HERE ON CHARLES STREET IN PARAMORE.
