Cape Coral City Council on June 3 awarded Pavement Maintenance LCC a contract to make spot repairs on roads throughout the city. The city’s fiscal year 2026 spot paving program includes asphalt milling, resurfacing and structural repairs, targeting needed roadway repairs that are too small to justify larger capital projects. City staff picked Pavement Maintenance after reviewing bids from five firms, including Ajax Paving Industries of Florida LLC, OHLA USA, Rogar Management & Consulting of Florida LLC and Southern Striping Solutions LLC. The contract price of $1,235,422, paid through the city’s 6 Cent Gas Tax fund, includes a 5% contingency of $58,829 to account for unforeseen conditions. The work on dozens of small repairs throughout the Cape is expected to be completed within 120 days.
