Homicide detectives are investigating after a woman’s body washed ashore in Hollywood Wednesday evening, police say.
About 8 p.m., Hollywood Police received a 911 call about a body that had washed up on Hollywood Beach near New Mexico Street, spokesperson Deanna Bettineschi said in an email.
Homicide Unit detectives are trying to identify the woman and investigate the circumstances surrounding her death, Bettineschi said. She did not provide further information.
