MIAMI – The FIU volleyball program continued its dominant stretch of play with a straight-set sweep over Jacksonville State on Saturday afternoon from the Ocean Bank Convocation Center.

FIU (16-9, 10-2 CUSA) earned its eighth consecutive Conference USA victory, marking the longest conference win streak in program history. The Panthers have now won eight of their last nine matches and recorded their eighth sweep of the season.

The Panthers took the match in scores of 26-24, 25-16, and 25-21, remaining unbeaten at home in conference play.

Sophomore Jillian Huckabey led the offense once again, notching her fifth straight match in double-digit kills with 11, while adding eight digs, three assists, and two blocks.

Middle blocker Magda Stambrowska added eight kills and two blocks, while Kira Givans matched with eight kills of her own. Freshman Rebekah Pfefferkorn continued her consistent play, tallying seven kills and three digs.

Setter Savannah Cook paced the attack with 27 assists and 11 digs, marking her eighth double-double of the season. Senior libero Mandi Morioka led the defensive effort with 13 digs, while Kambree Rodriguez added six.

As a team, FIU totaled 41 kills, 49 digs, and a season-high 10 service aces to extend the conference winning streak.

FIU prepares for their final home regular season weekend on Friday, Nov. 7 – Saturday, Nov. 8 taking on Middle Tennessee at Ocean Bank Convocation Centrer. It will be streamed live on ESPN+.
