PORT ST. LUCIE, Fla. (CBS12) — A brand-new park is opening in Port St. Lucie, and it’s designed to be much more than just a place to play.
Located at 12441 Southwest Village Parkway, the Stars and Stripes Park features themed art, interactive spaces, and tributes to veterans and first responders — spread across 26 acres.
The grand opening celebration will transform the park into an immersive evening experience featuring a ribbon-cutting ceremony, live music from a DJ, food vendors, family-friendly entertainment, and interactive activities throughout the park’s “Celestial Space.” The celebration will include a robotic dog technology demonstration from the Port St. Lucie Police Department.
