Luli Fama celebrated its 20th Anniversary at this year’s PARAISO Miami Swim Week
All around, the runway embraced creative looks rather than understated minimalism. Miami-based Luli Fama, which celebrated its 20th anniversary, brought its signature brand of intricate, head-turning, statement-making designs.

Oséree delivered looks that conveyed a sense of sophistication and spontaneity with shimmering lurex, floral details, tie-dye effects and natural elements.
On Oséree’s runway, this maximalism went far beyond traditional resortwear, with sequins that sparkled. “This year felt like a stronger evolution of the brand universe,” the brand’s designers share. “The collections expanded beyond swimwear into a more complete resort and occasion wardrobe, with new tailoring elements, richer textures and more experimental embellishments as well as accessories like hats and summer jewel bags.”
Freeing Fringe & Elevated Crochet

Melissa Odabash drew inspired from the effortless elegance and jet-set glamour of the Côte d’Azur for her PARAISO show.
Many additions to this season’s couture embraced all things crochet and fringe, leaving design out of the mix. From beads and jewels, soft textures and elaborate crochet patterns, there are many ways to bring this visual element to your next summertime garments. Kulani Kini brought a vibrant Y2K aesthetic to their collection with a sunset-colored crochet mini skirt complete with beaded tassels. A crocheted long-sleeve maxi dress by Melissa Odabash offered a peek at the bikini bottom beneath, thanks to its mesh design.

Sinesia Karol’s Resort 27 show
Nothing is more reminiscent of the ocean than seashells, and PARAISO Miami Swim Week brought deep-sea inspiration to the runway. Sinesia Karol took a literal approach to mermaid-inspired beachwear, pairing seashell and pearl jewelry with swimsuits and cover-ups.
