Sunshine State clash between Tampa Bay Rays and Miami Marlins airs on MeTV Friday
MIAMI —
A Sunshine State series is on tap this weekend as the Tampa Bay Rays travel south to face the Miami Marlins.
Gulf Coast viewers can catch the first game of this three-game series, which kicks off Friday night, with the game airing on MeTV.
The Rays (36-23) come into this game scuffling, 2-8 in their last 10 games, with their American League East lead over the New York Yankees reduced to half a game. The Marlins (29-34) went 5-5 in their last 10 games and are currently in fourth place in the National League East.
Drew Rasmussen is expected to take the bump for Tampa Bay, and Ryan Gusto will start for Miami tonight.
First pitch is scheduled for 7:10 p.m. Friday. You can find MeTV over the air on Comcast channel 208 and Summit Broadband channel 207.
