TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) – June’s arrival means sunshine, beach, and breezes. How about adding a new family member to experience all the season has to offer?
WCTV and the Tallahassee Animal Service Center team up each week to spotlight four adoptable dogs in hopes of helping them find their fur-ever homes faster!
Here are the dogs we are featuring this week:
MEET EARL
Earl is a low-key guy looking for a new adventure!(WCTV)
Meet Earl!
He’s a 2 year old who likes to do things his way.
The shelter thinks he’s a hound and boxer mix, and boy does he love to use his nose when on a walk.
He arrived as a stray, but appears to be house trained and knows how to sit.
Earl seems to be more interested in treats than scratches but he doesn’t mind a cuddle.
Earl is hoping to find a home without small kids so he can settle in and live his best life.
He’d also want to meet any other dog brothers or sisters before joining the family.
Earl’s easy-going, low-key take on life is sure to win you over!

MEET TRUE
Find your True love at the shelter this weekend!(wctv)
Meet True!
This sweet dog is a 2-year-old shepherd mix is once again looking for a loving home after she was surrendered for learning how to jump the fence.
She’s shy at first, but becomes an absolute treat to walk.
True is an angel on the leash and knows several commands.
True will need a family with a secure yard and plenty of toys to help her reach her potential.
True is smart and has lots of love to give, as long as some treats are involved.

MEET BUD
Meet Bud at the Shelter this weekend!(WCTV)
Meet Bud!
His name is perfect because he wants to be your new best friend.
This three-year-old stray is sweet, and loves an adventure as long as he’s leading the way.
Bud needs a second or two to get to know you, but once he does, he’s full throttle.
Bud has two speeds: nice and gentle when scratches are available and full speed ahead when he’s on a mission!
He is looking for a calm home with a big yard to run around in, because once he’s tired himself out, he’s ready for the couch!

MEET MAJESTY
Majesty is a sweet soul looking for her new devoted family!(wctv)
Meet Majesty!
This royal princess is looking for her happily ever after.
She is just a year old and has already come so far.
She was quite afraid when she arrived at the shelter, but she’s slowly coming out of her shell.
Her default setting is sweet and gentle, and once she warms up, she’s ready for a sniff around the block.
Majesty could use a family willing to work with her to reach her full potential.
She’s a 32-pound beauty looking for that royal welcome home.
So hop into your carriage and visit her majesty this weekend at the shelter!
MEET AND GREET
You can meet these dogs and dozens more awaiting adoption at the Tallahassee Animal Service Center. It’s located across from Tom Brown Park at 1125 Easterwood Drive in Tallahassee.
You can walk through the kennels Tuesday through Sunday from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. and can also visit by appointment the rest of the week from 10 a.m. until 6 p.m.
