St. Pete garbage truck driver that ran over woman in alley will not be prosecuted: State Attorney
ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. (WFLA) — The garbage truck driver who ran over a woman in St. Petersburg last weekend, killing her, will not be prosecuted, according to the State Attorney’s Office.
On May 30, 51-year-old Nathan Brown was arrested after the St. Petersburg Police Department said he ran over and killed a woman while operating a city garbage truck.
The fatal incident occurred in the alley on 3rd Street North between Central Avenue and 1st Avenue.
Following an investigation, the State Attorney’s Office said that they would not be prosecuting Brown regarding the incident, stating that “the facts and circumstances revealed do not warrant prosecution at this time.”
