TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) – The forecast is looking steamy on Monday. Meteorologist Cameron Aaron has an update on what to expect for the week ahead.
Tonight Through Monday Night
Calm weather will stick around to close out the weekend. Low temperatures dip into the upper-60s and low-70s under a partly to mostly cloudy sky.
A warm Monday is ahead for the Big Bend and South Georgia. Highs climb into the low-and-mid-90s under a partly sunny sky. We are dry for the first half of Monday, but we are anticipating a couple of those pop-up downpours for the afternoon and evening.
Monday night is looking mainly dry and muggy. Lows settle in the low-70s under a partly to mostly cloudy sky.
Middle Of The Week
Clouds are looking a little more pesky on Tuesday, and this should help keep those heat levels down. Highs reach the upper-80s to low-90s. Again, a few pop-up showers and storms are possible, but it will not rain for everyone. Lows fall into the low-70s.
Temperatures on Wednesday climb into the low-90s under a mix of Sun and clouds. An isolated shower or storm is possible, but the rain coverage is not very widespread. Lows bottom out in the low-70s.
Extended Forecast
For the second half of next week, we are tracking better moisture levels and better rain chances.
Scattered showers and thunderstorms are looking possible on Thursday and Friday.
Highs climb into the low-and-mid-90s under a mix of Sun and clouds for both days.
Lows dip into the low-70s.
