A man found lying dead in a driveway in Lauderhill late Sunday night had been shot once, police confirmed.
Officers with the Lauderhill Police Department went to the 900 block of Northwest 34th Terrace at about 10:08 p.m. Sunday in response to a reported shooting. Upon arrival, officers found an adult man with a gunshot wound lying in a driveway, according to a release from Lauderhill police.
The man was pronounced dead by Lauderhill Fire Rescue at the scene.
“This was an isolated incident, and all parties who were involved are accounted for at this time,” police said Sunday night, adding that an investigation into the shooting is underway.
Police did not release the man’s identity.
