As much as locals like to say, “we live where you vacation,” there comes a time when you want to take advantage of that. This summer, The Vinoy Resort & Golf Club, Autograph Collection is giving us the perfect excuse for a little self indulgence.
The full experience is an afternoon of absolute bliss as only an Autograph Collection property could create. The locals package starts with 50 minutes of pure relaxation with an aromatherapy massage, followed by a 50‑minute LA Flore calming and hydrating facial enhanced with LED red‑light therapy. Guests have full access to the spa’s wet facilities, and in addition to the massage and facial, you also receive a $25 credit to use at Parasol, the poolside bistro, or Paul’s Landing at The Vinoy overlooking the North Yacht Basin.

The 100-minute package is available through November of 2026, and more than a dozen available add-ons let you customize the experience exactly how you like. From Paraffin foot or hand treatment to eye de-puffing treatment or soothing Himalayan salt stones, you can create the Me Day of your dreams. The package starts at $400 and can be found online here.
Two of us from the I Love the Burg team got the chance to experience the Locals Package at the beginning of the summer and we came away highly impressed by the experience. We’re thrilled to see The Vinoy taking care of locals during summer when our bodies and skin need it the most.
There’s something magical about The Vinoy. Walking up to the historic pink facade, taking in the sweeping waterfront views, and being met with impeccable service, instantly makes you feel like the main character on vacation. The spa experience only adds to that feeling.
My favorite part was how intentional and luxurious everything felt, from the heated massage tables and calming treatment rooms to the high-end skincare products used during the facial. After spending the afternoon completely unplugged, lunch at Paul’s Landing overlooking the water was the perfect ending. By the time we left, we were already planning our next visit, and couldn’t stop talking about how relaxed we felt and how glowy our skin looked.

Tucked away amid the idyllic grounds of the historic resort, The Vinoy Spa is a tranquil oasis of complete relaxation. Inspired by the healing properties of the ocean and a holistic approach to skin health and well-being, the spa is a place to indulge in treatments featuring sustainable, results-driven products.
The view from Parasol
Paired with lunch at Parasol or Paul’s Landing and the breeze coming in off the bay waters, there may not be a better staycation experience in the city. And while you’re there, we highly recommend making a reservation for dinner or brunch at Elliott Aster, which just earned Michelin recognition in May after being open less than one year.
