The Broward School Board votes unanimously to install cameras on buses and ticket drivers who illegally pass them. School Board member Adam Cervera calls this a win/win. The school district will work with the Broward Sheriff’s Office to give 225-dollar tickets to violators. The camera vending company will keep 70-percent of the profits, while the district will get 30-percent. Miami-Dade got over 4 million from a similar program in just 3 months back in 2023.
