TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) – You are going to want to find ways to stay cool the rest of this week and into the weekend as temperatures climb into the mid-90s, but the humidity will make it feel extra uncomfortable.
Yes, this is the weather we are so used to during the summer months, but the average high for early June in near 90. We will be about five degrees above that, PLUS mid-summer-like humidity will make it feel closer to 105, which is approaching heat advisory criteria according to the National Weather Service.
Some cooling showers will be possible, especially this weekend and next week, but NOT everyone will get in on the rain action. Join Meteorologist Austin Lowe for an update on the heat and the latest drought conditions.
