  • June 12, 2026

CAPE CANAVERAL, Fla. – SpaceX has two launches happening Friday morning — one from the Space Coast and one on Wall Street.

SpaceX launched a Falcon 9 rocket into low-Earth orbit from Space Launch Complex 40 at Cape Canaveral Space Force Station.

The rocket carried 29 Starlink satellites for the company’s internet service into space.

Afterward, the first-stage booster landed on the “A Shortfall of Gravitas” droneship in the Atlantic Ocean.

This was the 27th flight for this first-stage booster.

Meanwhile, SpaceX officially went public on Friday, meaning investors have a chance to buy stock in the aerospace, internet and AI company.

Shares will begin trading on the Nasdaq Exchange.
