This week on The Big Gay Radio Show, hosts Chris Gorman, Esmé Russell, and Bryan Hinkson were joined by Tampa Bay radio icon Drew Garabo for a special Fall Fund Drive episode, and thanks to your generosity, we raised over $4,400 for WMNF Community Radio!
During the show, Drew Garabo shared stories from his decades behind the mic, talked about what keeps him passionate about radio, and reflected on why supporting community-driven media like WMNF matters now more than ever. Listeners called in throughout the hour to show their support, helping us hit one of our biggest fundraising totals to date. Whether you chipped in $5 or $500, we felt the love, and we’re extremely grateful.
On The Big Gay After Show, Drew stuck around to dive into the headlines with Chris, Esmé, and Bryan. The crew unpacked Rolling Stone’s picks for the top songs of the 21st century, a Florida bill that would force colleges to rename streets after Charlie Kirk, and efforts in Texas to remove rainbow crosswalks. Esmé also shared her thoughts on Tron: Ares, and Drew talked about his recent Ketamine therapy.
