The event, organized by Pilates Zone & Movement Zone, aimed to promote physical and emotional well-being, raise awareness about the importance of early detection and raise funds for the Breast Cancer Research Foundation (@bcrfcure), which supports research for the prevention and cure of breast cancer.
A group of 40 participants joined the outdoor session, generating positive energy and a strong sense of community. The class highlighted the power of movement, mindfulness, and community connection as essential pillars of a healthy and balanced life.
“Seeing so many people come together in support of such a meaningful cause is truly inspiring,” said Alicia Otero, founder and owner of Pilates Zone. “This event is also very special to me, as I dedicate it in memory of my husband, Guillermo García, who passed away a few months ago from cancer. His strength and love continue to be a source of inspiration for me and for our entire community.”
The event was made possible by the help of the Key Biscayne Community Center staff, their support and collaboration were critical in getting this done.

Pilates Zone and Otero extend their heartfelt thanks to the Key Biscayne community and all their wonderful clients for joining them in this day full of positive energy, awareness and solidarity.
