LAS VEGAS, Nev. – Trevor Lawrence will play despite illness.

Devin Lloyd will miss at least one more week.

That’s the pre-game injury/illness news for the Jaguars entering their Week 9 game against the Las Vegas Raiders at Allegiant Stadium Sunday, with team announcing several hours before kickoff that Lawrence – the team’s starting quarterback – will play through an illness.

Lloyd, the Jaguars’ linebacker and the AFC Defensive Player of the Month for September, will miss a second consecutive game with a calf injury. He was among six Jaguars players announced as inactive minutes before kickoff.

The Jaguars placed rookie wide receiver/defensive back Travis Hunter and starting safety Eric Murray Friday on injured reserve Friday, signing wide receiver Austin Trammell to the active roster from the practice squad. The team activated wide receiver Tim Jones and linebacker Branson Combs from the practice squad Saturday for Sunday’s game.
