A 69-year-old Jacksonville man suffered critical injuries in a fiery semi-truck crash on I-95 in St. Johns County Thursday morning, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.

The crash caused all southbound and northbound lanes on the interstate to shut down temporarily.

According to FHP, the man was driving a semi-truck south on I-95 near State Road 207 at 10:18 a.m. when he veered left, crossed the left lane and entered the median.
