The potential Miami Heat trade package for Giannis Antetokounmpo reportedly includes Tyler Herro, Kel’el Ware, Jaime Jaquez Jr., either Pelle Larsson or Kasparas Jakucionis, and multiple future first-round draft picks.
A key decision in a potential Giannis Antetokounmpo trade may come down to Pelle Larsson or Kasparas Jakucionis, with the Miami Heat expected to include one of the two in their offer, according to The Athletic.
The Heat were aggressive in their pursuit of Antetokounmpo at the February trade deadline. At the time, The Athletic reported that they believed a deal was close before the Milwaukee Bucks ultimately pulled back.
“This time around, with league sources indicating that the package is likely to include Tyler Herro, Kel’el Ware, Jaime Jaquez Jr., either Pelle Larsson or Kasparas Jakucionis, and draft capital (they can offer up to three first-round picks), Miami is still widely seen as the frontrunner in the Antetokounmpo sweepstakes.”
Miami’s available draft assets include a 2026 first-round pick swap, a 2029 first-round pick swap, a 2030 first-round pick, a 2031 first-round pick swap, and a 2032 first-round pick.

The package is considered strong enough to meet the Bucks’ asking price, as Milwaukee is reportedly targeting blue-chip young players and a significant haul of draft picks in return for their superstar.

Other teams in the Giannis sweepstakes
The Miami Heat are not the only team involved in discussions for Antetokounmpo.
According to The Athletic, the Minnesota Timberwolves are emerging as another possible destination.
Milwaukee would reportedly want Jaden McDaniels, Naz Reid, Terrence Shannon Jr., and Minnesota’s two available first-round picks in return.
The Bucks are also said to be seeking clarity from several other teams, including the Boston Celtics, Orlando Magic, and Portland Trail Blazers.
There is also reported league-wide skepticism regarding Milwaukee’s handling of earlier trade talks involving Giannis at the deadline.

Tim Reynolds of the Associated Press previously reported ongoing speculation that Bobby Portis could be included in the potential Giannis trade package sent to Miami.
“I think it’s hard not to see it because I’m on social media,” Portis addressed the rumors. “I’m not going to act like I don’t be on social media, some people be capping, like, ‘No, I don’t see it. I don’t get on social media.’ That’s a cap. We all get on social media. We all get on Instagram, we all get on Twitter or X.”
“So yeah, we all see it, but it doesn’t bother me,” he added. “I think if I were a second-, third-, fourth-, or fifth-year guy trying to figure out my niche in the league, trying to figure out my role, then I’d be like, ‘Oh my God,’ asking my mom or my agent what’s going on.
“When you’re a young player in the league, you kind of read and believe everything, but I’m going on my 12th year. I’m at peace, and I’m just trying to get better at my craft every day.”
Portis has been with the Bucks since 2020 and was part of their 2021 NBA championship team alongside Giannis.
