PORT ST. LUCIE, Fla. (CBS12) — New details confirm a woman’s body in the roadway caused Saturday morning’s I-95 North shutdown in Port St. Lucie.

According to the Florida Highway Patrol (FHP), the woman has not been identified, but has been described as a 23-year-old from Fort Pierce.

The body was found near mile marker 118 just North of Gatlin Boulevard. The investigation has since been turned over to the Port St. Lucie Police Department (PSLPD).

It was reported all lanes were closed, as well as the on ramp. However all lanes re-opened later that morning.
