The Georgia Bulldogs prevailed over the Florida Gators 24-20 in a thriller in Jacksonville. Georgia used a pair of fourth down stops on defense along with a few gritty fourth quarter drives led by quarterback Gunner Stockton, running back Chauncey Bowens and receiver Zachariah Branch to take the momentum and close out Florida.

“It creates confidence, I mean, it’s (Florida) a good team,” Georgia coach Kirby Smart said after the game. “It’s the next step in the puzzle. Look, I have a lot of respect for their staff.”

Georgia trailed in the second half of four of the Bulldogs’ five SEC wins this season. The Bulldogs continue to show resilience. The close games are more stressful and more fun for Georgia fans.

Georgia overcame a few defensive injuries and a KJ Bolden targeting penalty against Florida. The Bulldogs closed out the game with a strong rushing attack to beat Florida for a fifth consecutive time.
