TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) – Three people were arrested Friday on illegal firearm charges, according to the Leon County Sheriff’s Office.
LCSO said their action unit served a warrant at a residence on Tennessee Street near Dixie Drive. Shamir Franklin, 21, was arrested and charged with possession of a machine gun. Another 21-year-old, Nikallo Joseph, was also arrested and charged with possession of a bump-fire stock.

A 17-year-old was also arrested and taken into custody on 23 firearms-related pickup orders and charged with grand theft of a firearm.
Law enforcement said they found 5 guns, two of which were stolen and one had been modified to alter its rate of fire.
Court records show Joseph got out of jail on bond and Franklin has his first appearance Sunday at 8:30 a.m.
