TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) – After sweltering temperatures this weekend, we are tracking lower heat levels to kick off the new week as rain chances remain elevated.
Tonight Through Monday Night
Spotty showers and thunderstorms are possible for Sunday evening, but we are tracking lower rain chances for the overnight. Again, we stay mild and muggy. Lows fall into the low-and-mid-70s under a mostly clear sky.
This active weather pattern will stick around to start the new week. It will not rain all day on Monday, but we are anticipating another round of scattered showers and thunderstorms. Highs on Monday top out in the low-90s under a partly sunny sky.
Spotty showers linger into Monday night, but the rain chance is much lower. Low temperatures settle in the mid-70s under a partly to mostly cloudy sky.
A Break From The Summer Sizzle
As rain chances stay elevated on Tuesday and Wednesday, we are keeping tabs on lower heat levels.
Scattered showers and thunderstorms are possible at times on Tuesday and Wednesday under a partly sunny sky. It will not rain constantly, but be sure to pack the umbrella.
Because of the showers and clouds, highs are a little cooler. We top out in the mid-to-upper-80s for midweek.
Overnight lows remain muggy in the mid-70s.
Extended Forecast
Temperatures begin to warm as we close out the work week.
Highs on Thursday climb into the low-90s under a partly sunny sky. Scattered downpours are possible, but the rain chance is not as widespread. Lows dip into the mid-70s.
We are tracking more scattered rain and storm chances on Friday. Highs reach the low-90s under a partly sunny sky, with lows in the mid-70s.
