Authorities are investigating a shooting in northwest Miami-Dade early Monday that left a woman hospitalized.
Deputies responded to the shooting around 1:15 a.m. in the area of 25th Avenue and Northwest 62nd Street, Miami-Dade Sheriff’s Office officials said.
When they arrived, they found the woman with an apparent gunshot wound to the lower extremities.
Miami-Dade Fire Rescue responded and brought the woman to a local hospital in stable condition.
The incident remains under investigation.
