A Jacksonville man was injured Sunday when his all-terrain vehicle rolled over on top of him, according to authorities.
The 23-year-old man was going south on Lincoln Avenue about 7:45 a.m. Sunday and tried to make a U-turn at Baldwin Road when the ATV flipped, according to Jacksonville police.
“The driver had injuries all over his body” but declined being taken to the hospital, according to a police report.
The driver was cited on charges of driving while license is suspended and operating an ATV on a roadway. He is scheduled for a June 29 court appearance on the charges.
He also is scheduled to appear in courtĀ Aug. 6 on charges of driving while license is suspended and speeding 11-14 mph above the limit, which were filed in January.
