Another hot day is ahead for Key Biscayne, with temperatures expected to reach 89 degrees under partly cloudy skies. A Heat Advisory is in effect from noon to 6 p.m. today. The National Weather Service in Miami projects heat index values – the combination of hot temperatures and high humidity – to reach between 105 and 107 degrees.
Key Biscayne residents spending time outdoors should stay hydrated, seek shade when possible and limit strenuous activity during the hottest part of the day.
Winds will be out of the south at 10 to 20 mph.
Tonight, in time for Argentina’s World Cup match, temperatures will remain warm, with a low around 82 degrees and south winds at 10 to 15 mph.
Wednesday, a mix of sun and clouds, with the chance of an isolated afternoon thunderstorm. The high will again approach 89 degrees, with SSW winds at 10 to 20 mph.
