The Hernando County Sheriff’s Office released video of a June 6 arrest now under internal review to assess compliance with departmental policy.Authorities say the review concerns Deputy M. LaPalme after an interaction with Iesha Field inside a patrol vehicle. The sheriff’s office described it as an examination of conduct captured in the arrest video.According to officials, deputies responded to complaints at a gas station and later a nearby mobile home park, where Field appeared to be under the influence and refused to leave. She was taken into custody after allegedly resisting. Additional restraints were used during transport, and she was booked on battery on a law enforcement officer and disorderly intoxication charges. The review remains ongoing.
