From the outside, All You Need looks like another wellness cafe. And while they have enough salads, avocado toasts, and matcha to satisfy a Lululemon-sponsored health nut, this place has a secret identity. It’s an incredible Ukrainian restaurant in disguise, which you’ll discover if you order something from the section of the menu marked “our specialties.” That’s where the magic of this place lives. We did not expect to fall so deeply in love with borscht in Midtown, and we’d happily eat All You Need’s syrnyky (cottage cheese pancakes) with mango and passion fruit every morning for breakfast. These are everyday Ukrainian dishes, but elegantly plated, with thoughtfully incorporated Miami flavors and a meticulous attention to detail. This isn’t another wellness cafe. It’s Midtown’s best restaurant by a long shot. And in case this still doesn’t motivate you to brave the Target parking garage, there’s a Sunny Isles location, too.

Food RundownBorscht
Just as beautiful as it is delicious. The bowl comes with a cracker that looks like an ant colony’s art installation. It’s garnished with slivers of onion, drops of herb oil, frisee, and edible flowers. Get it with the optional side of cold, smoked pork belly to plunge into the borscht.

Syrnyky
On their own, these pancakes are soft, fluffy, and a little tart. We like ordering them with a mango and passion fruit sauce. It’ll cost you an extra $4, but it’s a fantastic collision of Slavic and Miami flavors.

Holubtsi
Here’s another Miamified traditional Slavik dish. These barley and ground beef-stuffed cabbage balls are wonderful on their own. But they come with a tomato and mango sauce that adds a tropical surprise to all of those earthy flavors.

Steak Tartare
The meat is silky, topped with little dollops of mustard aioli, an egg yolk, and dusted with a porcini powder that makes you feel like you’re eating it while sitting on a stump in a forest.
