The Battle for the Victory Bell is coming to the West End.Officially announced Tuesday, the University of Cincinnati and Miami University will renew their historic football rivalry at TQL Stadium, marking the first-ever football game played at the home of FC Cincinnati.The Sept. 19 game will kickoff at 3:30 p.m. and will be broadcast on ESPN+.WLWT reported in February that TQL Stadium would play host to this year’s game.“TQL Stadium was designed to host world-class events, and we’re proud to add this historic moment to that legacy. Bringing the UC–Miami rivalry to our venue for its first-ever football game is incredibly exciting,” said Jeff Berding, President & Co-CEO of FC Cincinnati, in a press release announcing the game. “This matchup carries deep regional significance, and we’re thrilled to deliver a one-of-a-kind gameday experience for fans of both programs in the heart of our city.”Opening in 2021, TQL Stadium has a soccer capacity of 26,000. The Sept. 19 game falls within a 26-day period without an FC Cincinnati home match.Cincinnati currently holds a narrow edge in the all-time series at 61–60–7. The Bearcats won the last meeting with a 27-16 victory in Oxford during the 2024 season. The two teams did not meet in 2025, and there is not a future matchup currently on the books.Cincinnati football season ticket holders will have an exclusive window to purchase tickets this week, beginning Wednesday and ending Sunday night.A presale code will be sent to season ticket holders by 10 a.m. Wednesday. Student tickets and parking will be made available later this summer.
