TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) – A Tallahassee man has been indicted in federal court on several drug charges following what the U.S. Attorney’s Office, Northern District of Florida called a ‘record-breaking’ drug bust.
Chandale Mills, 42, was indicted on several charges including possession with intent to distribute multiple controlled substances including more than 5 kilograms of cocaine, 500 grams of methamphetamine, 40 grams of fentanyl and 50 kilograms of marijuana. He is also facing possession of firearms charges, according to the U.S. Attorney’s Office.
Mills was arrested in April in what Tallahassee Police say may be the largest bust in TPD history.

According to police, law enforcement began investigating Mills in February after suspecting him of trafficking drugs into Tallahassee. Police searched two homes as part of the investigation, finding copious amounts of drugs, $30,000 in cash and several firearms.

If convicted, Mills faces ten years to life in prison on the drug trafficking charge, five years to life for possession of a firearm in furtherance of drug trafficking and up to 15 years for possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
Jury trial is scheduled for July, according to the U.S. Attorney’ Office.
