BOCA RATON, Fla. – The Boston College Men’s Basketball team begins the 2025-26 season Monday evening, as they take on Florida Atlantic at 7 p.m. in the Eleanor R. Baldwin Arena.

BOSTON COLLEGE VS. FLORIDA ATLANTIC – ALL-TIME SERIES


Monday’s game marks the fourth all-time meeting between the two schools. Boston College holds a 3-0 series lead.
The Eagles captured the most previous meeting – 82-79 – played at Chestnut Hill on Nov. 17, 2013.
This is the first time the contest will be played at the Eleanor R. Baldwin Arena in Boca Raton, Florida.

BOSTON COLLEGE vs. THE AMERICAN CONFERENCE


The Eagles are 11-7 all-time vs. current American Conference teams.
BC played one American team last season, hosting Temple on Nov. 15, 2024. The Eagles took a 72-69 victory off Donald Hand Jr.’s 17 points and six rebounds.
Boston College travels to Temple on Nov. 15, and potentially plays Tulane in the Shriners Children’s Charleston Classic.

BOSTON COLLEGE IN SEASON OPENERS


In its 92 previous season openers, Boston College has posted an outstanding 72-20 (.783) winning percentage. 
Earl Grant is 4-0 in season openers at Boston College.
Last year, Boston College defeated The Citadel, 69-60, on Nov. 3.
The Eagles have played their season opener at Conte Forum in 10 of the last 11 seasons and 35 of the last 39 years.

EDGERLEY FAMILY COURT


The basketball court at Silvio O. Conte Forum will officially be named the Edgerley Family Court starting this season.
The Edgerleys are active members of the Parents Leadership Council and are supporters of undergraduate financial aid at Boston College, having co-chaired Pops on the Heights in 2023 and 2024.
Sandra Edgerley serves on the Boston College Board of Trustees, where she is a member of the Academic Affairs Committee. Paul Edgerley is a senior advisor at Bain Capital, where he was a managing director and played a leadership role for more than 30 years.
The court is a lasting symbol of the Edgerleys’ commitment to enhancing the tradition of excellence at Boston College.

OUT OF CONFERENCE OPPONENTS IN 2025-26


Boston College will face 13 non-conference opponents from a possible nine different conferences in 2025-26.
Four of the 13 non-con opponents hail from the NEC (CCSU, New Haven, FDU, and Le Moyne).
