A teenager is dead days after a shooting on the Treasure Coast. The Fort Pierce Police Department announced Tuesday, June 16, that a 16-year-old Black male died on Monday, June 15 from injuries sustained in a shooting on Thursday, June 11.Fort Pierce Police Department officers responded to a shooting incident on June 11 at 9:15 p.m. after St. Lucie County Sheriff’s Office detectives were traveling east on Avenue N when they heard multiple gunshots fired in the area.
