Registration is now open for the 13th annual Running with the Law races in downtown Jacksonville.
The event is scheduled for Tuesday, Aug. 4, with opening ceremonies beginning at 6:00 p.m. on the main stage. Races will start at 6:30 p.m.
According to organizers, participants can choose from a 10K race, 5K race or a one-mile fun run and walk. Organizers say runners and walkers of all ages and skill levels are welcome to participate.
The annual event raises money for Special Olympics North Carolina, with all proceeds supporting the organization’s programs and athletes.
