TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) – The City of Tallahassee’s project to upgrade power lines along Centerville Road begins on Wednesday.
Beginning June 17, construction will be taking place between Betton Road and Trescott Drive from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. seven days a week.
According to the City of Tallahassee, crews will need to replace infrastructure on both sides of Trescott Drive, leading to temporary road closures of the intersection. of Trescott Drive and Centerville Road.
These closures will take place during construction hours on Wednesday, June 17, Saturday, June 20, Sunday, June 21 and Friday to Sunday, June 26-28.
Residents of Centerville Townhomes will still have access to the area, the city says.
Other than the days of the road closures, the intersection will be open for local traffic only to access Centerville Road.
