CINCINNATI (WXIX) – TQL Stadium is set to host its first football game when the Victory Bell is put on the line in 2026.
FC Cincinnati President and Co-CEO Jeff Berding announced Tuesday that the University of Cincinnati Bearcats and Miami RedHawks will square off on Sept. 19 at TQL Stadium.
The game will kick off at 3:30 p.m.
“TQL Stadium was designed to host world-class events, and we’re proud to add this historic moment to that legacy. Bringing the UC–Miami rivalry to our venue for its first-ever football game is incredibly exciting,” said Jeff Berding, President & Co-CEO of FC Cincinnati. “This matchup carries deep regional significance, and we’re thrilled to deliver a one-of-a-kind gameday experience for fans of both programs in the heart of our city.”

The rivalry between UC and Miami dates back to 1888, but the two sides did not play each other in 2025.
The last time the Bearcats and RedHawks played, UC was victorious, with the Bearcats getting a 27-16 win in Oxford.
Cincinnati does have a slight edge in the all-time record against Miami. The Bearcats are 61-60-7 against the RedHawks.
From June 17-21, UC football and FC Cincinnati season ticket members will have an exclusive window to buy tickets before the public on-sale begins June 22.
