GAINESVILLE, Fla. (WCJB) – There were ups and downs in the Florida housing market last month.
Numbers released by Florida Realtors on Tuesday show home sales jumped more than nine percent in the Ocala market from May of last year. But, they fell nearly 12% in the Gainesville market.

The average price of those homes fell in both markets.
For the year, the Ocala market still boasts the lowest home prices in Florida.
