ORLANDO, Fla. — A major community event is about to go down, and kids and their dads might totally dig it for a free and fun Father’s Day weekend idea.
The Freestyle Motocross Block Party at The Great Southern Box Co. Food Hall and Walter’s Tavern in College Park is one day only. Motocross professionals, like TJ Tiffany, will perform all kinds of stunts.
“These are the shows that we definitely enjoy doing, being a hometown crowd,” Tiffany said. Tiffany performs arena shows all over the world.
But something unique about this College Park event is the proximity visitors have to the stuntmen and stuntwomen. “The guests will literally be 15-20 feet away from TJ doing these backflips, no-handed backflips, and Superman backflips,” said Matty Bullitt, who owns The Great Southern Box Co. and Walter’s Tavern.
In addition to stunts and BMX riders, the event features live music, inflatables, children’s activities, and a variety of food and drink options.
The Freestyle Motocross Block Party is Saturday, June 20 from noon to 10 p.m. in the Orlando Packing District.
