El Jardín
El Jardín, a new garden-to-table restaurant from the team behind OISE Japanese Fusion, opened June 18 at 1227 Cape Coral Parkway E. in Cape Coral. The restaurant blends Latin American and Japanese influences while emphasizing locally sourced ingredients from Southwest Florida farms, fisheries, ranchers and artisans. Menu offerings include spicy tuna crispy rice, house-made empanadas, Miso Mojo Beef, Yuzu Adobo Half Chicken and a signature smash burger. Owned by Brad Cozza, El Jardín uses avocado oil and beef tallow in place of seed oils and features a menu centered on seasonal ingredients and globally inspired flavors. The restaurant is open from 5 to 9 p.m. Wednesday through Saturday, with Friday and Saturday hours extended to 10 p.m. during the summer.
