TAMPA, Fla. (WWSB) – A Pinellas County man accused in a federal drug trafficking investigation has agreed to plead guilty to methamphetamine conspiracy and firearm charges, according to court records filed in Tampa.
Devante Deon Webb agreed to plead guilty to conspiracy to distribute and possess with intent to distribute 500 grams or more of methamphetamine. He also agreed to plead guilty to possessing a firearm in furtherance of a drug trafficking crime, according to the plea agreement.
The plea agreement was filed June 16 in the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Florida.
Federal court records say the methamphetamine conspiracy charge carries a mandatory minimum sentence of 10 years in prison and up to life. The firearm charge carries a mandatory minimum sentence of five years and up to life, consecutive to any sentence imposed on the drug charge.

The case stems from a federal investigation involving controlled buys and a search warrant at a Largo residence.
According to the plea agreement, Webb supplied a distributor who sold counterfeit Adderall pills and cocaine to an undercover Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office detective on July 31, 2025. Lab testing later showed the pills contained methamphetamine.
Investigators said another controlled buy happened Sept. 9, 2025, after a confidential source contacted Webb through FaceTime and arranged to buy counterfeit pills. The plea agreement states lab testing found the pills contained fentanyl and methamphetamine.
On Oct. 8, 2025, DEA agents executed a search warrant at a Largo residence. Prosecutors said agents found methamphetamine pills, fentanyl pills, methamphetamine powder, two firearms and drug-related equipment, including pill binder material, machine parts and blenders.
The original criminal complaint said agents also reported finding suspected marijuana, suspected psilocybin mushrooms, suspected crack cocaine and two pistols during the search.
As part of the plea agreement, Webb agreed to forfeit two 9 mm pistols: a Palmetto State Armory Palmetto Dagger and a Celik Arms Blade.
