The Florida State football team is expected to have only a couple of official visitors on campus this weekend, and one of them is among the Seminoles’ longest-tenured commitments, three-star safety Jemari Foreman.
Foreman has been committed to Florida State since making his verbal pledge to the Seminoles in September 2025.
Throughout the winter and spring, several other schools have stayed in contact with Foreman, including Cal, Oklahoma, Pitt and Louisville. However, only one of those programs — Louisville — appears to be still in the mix.
The Cardinals are the only other program to have received an official visit from Foreman so far.
“The feeling is that the Cardinals are a very real threat in his recruitment and could wind up getting a flip,” Rivals’ Adam Gorney said after that visit. “The Weston (Fla.) Cypress Bay three-star safety could just be on a post-visit high, but there is a lot of chatter around Louisville and his recruitment right now.”
That flip hasn’t happened as of yet, and Florida State is expected to work on getting Foreman to shut things down this weekend. From what Warchant is hearing from sources, there is a pretty good chance that that’s exactly what happens.
Foreman would be a huge keep for Florida State. While his recruiting rankings aren’t all that high at the moment, his film shows he is a major ball hawk in the secondary. He was also a top performer at OT7 just a few weeks ago.
Safeties coach Evan Cooper has been huge for Florida State in this recruitment. After losing Mekhi Williams’ commitment to Wisconsin recently, the ‘Noles would love to lock Foreman in this weekend.
