NORTH FORT MYERS, Fla. (WINK)— Lee County deputies arrested a North Fort Myers man after investigators said he pointed a firearm at two people during a disturbance in a wooded area.
According to the Lee County Sheriff’s Office, deputies responded Thursday to a disturbance involving several people near Del Prado Boulevard and Monte Isola Way in North Fort Myers.
Deputies said an argument escalated when a firearm was brandished and threats were made. Witnesses told investigators that two men pointed firearms at two victims as they attempted to leave the area.
During the confrontation, one of the victims was pistol-whipped and required medical treatment, according to deputies.

Investigators identified one of the suspects as Michael Allen Justis. Deputies said a victim positively identified Justis as the person who pointed a firearm at him during the incident.
Justis was arrested and charged with two counts of aggravated assault with intent to commit a felony.
