Stacy Anne Markham
OBITUARY
It is with deep sadness that the family of Stacy A. Markham, 62, of St. Pete, Florida, mourns the loss of an amazing daughter, sister, aunt, and friend. Stacy joined her mom in heaven on June 16, 2026. She shared a birthday with her mom, having been born on January 20, 1964, in Hartford, CT, the daughter of George and the late Dawn Markham.
After growing up in New England, Stacy traded the cold for the warm, tropical weather she so loved in Florida. She enjoyed spending time with her sister, walking along the downtown waterfront, biking all over St. Pete, and spending days at the beach.
Much like her mom, Stacy had a strong spirit and a beautiful soul. She truly was the life of the party. She was a genuine and selfless person with a heart of gold and a magnetic personality.
Stacy’s memory will be forever cherished by her father, George Markham of Ellington, CT; her brother and sister-in-law, Glenn and Janice Markham of Vernon, CT; her sister, Carey Markham, and Hope Crosson of St. Pete, FL; her niece, Rachel Markham, and her husband, Francis Ashwin, of Boston, MA; her nieces, Rebecca and Shannon Markham of Vernon, CT; her nephew, Kyle Markham of Vernon, CT; her aunt, Arlene French of Henniker, NH; her aunt, Anne Martelle of Wethersfield, CT; her uncle, Mason Markham of Southampton, NY; her aunt, Elaine Crocker of Manchester, CT; her cousin, Kristin, and her husband, Doug Marshall, of Naples, FL; Dale Crocker of Manchester, CT; and several other cousins and friends.
Stacy, heaven stole an angel from us. We love you and will miss you every day, but we will carry you in our hearts forever. Oh, and please do your version of “Wanted Dead or Alive” for everyone in heaven.
There will be a private family burial at East Cemetery in Manchester, CT.
