CHARLOTTE COUNTY, Fla. (WWSB) – From Tampa to Charlotte County, law enforcement showed out in force this weekend.
Cars lining overpasses, waving their support as pieces of a local hero began to find their new homes.
Jay Sanders was a firefighter and paramedic before he died. Even now, though, the Charlotte County man continues giving back to his community–through organ donation.
Though the organ donation procession is complete, another will be announced soon. This one aims to give one final show of support during the funeral procession, helping the family feel the impact Sanders left behind on his community.
