PORT ST. LUCIE, Fla. (CBS12) — On the Treasure Coast, a highly anticipated entertainment project is getting an update.
The Port St. Lucie Community Redevelopment Agency will meet for a special meeting Monday morning. They will be discussing progress on a proposed development in the eastern part of the city.
‘Walton and One’ is a 46-acre mixed-use redevelopment project on U.S One, near the MidFlorida Credit Union Event Center. The project has been in the works since 2023.
The goal is to build a walkable place with retail, restaurants, and residential spaces.
After two years of analysis and review, the city is ready to give everyone an update. If city leaders approve the plans, it’ll kickstart the development of what could be a key cultural and entertainment hub in Port Saint Lucie.
If you’re interested in being a part of it, the meeting will take place from 9:45 to 11:15 Monday morning at the MidFlorida Event Center Ruby Ballroom.
