TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) – On Saturday, several local college and NFL stars were in the area to host football camps for the local youth in Leon and Gadsden County.
At Lincoln high school, former Chiles standout and Florida State Seminole Amari Gainer, former Seminole James Coleman, and former Lincoln Trojans’ Pat Watkins and BJ Daniels teamed up for the second year in a row for the Tallahassee Legends football camp. For Daniels, it was his first year joining the camp.
At Gadsden County high school, Joshua Farmer hosted his first football camp on his high school field. The second-year New England Patriot said he wanted to give back to the community that raised him.
Between the two camps, over 200 kids got to learn from some of the best to play the game in this area.
