ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. — There are all sorts of Pride events in Tampa Bay during Pride Month, with many hosted by St. Pete Pride.
St. Pete Pride Family Day is one of the organization’s favorites.
From playing in a bath of bubbles to face painting, St. Pete Pride Family Day is for everyone.
St. Pete Pride Vice President Trent Brock said he loves seeing everyone of all ages take an interest in Pride.
“It’s a great way for anyone of any age to come out and celebrate, whether they are part of the LGBTQ+ community or whether they’re an ally,” he said.
Brock said it’s important to host events like this.
He said they bring the community together.
“No one does pride like St. Pete Pride does,” Brock said. “This is one of our many events that we have, not only throughout the year, but especially in June for Pride Month.”
St. Pete Pride is hosting events throughout the month of June, and the signature event is always the St. Pete Pride parade.
That will be on June 27.
