WMNF’s Hannah Lau Gleciano reports on what the upgrades are and some concerns regarding the use of AI in policing.

Former Tampa Bay official is suing the city of Anna Maria for age discrimination after what her lawyer called “false allegations.”

The city emailed her regarding purchases made with city funds, to which she replied claiming city leadership has discriminated against older employees in the past, illegally tracked them and rejected disability accommodations.

The county is still waiting for reimbursement from the state.

The NHTSA says police pursuits have ended in 40 deaths in the last four years

Seven of those are from Tampa Bay alone and, according to Tampa Bay Times, these are likely underreported numbers.
