The River Country Quilt Show Committee is accepting entries for display during its upcoming show.
The annual River Country Quilt Show will be from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. July 24 and from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. July 25 at Jacksonville High School.
Quilts and quilted items — such as wall hangings and wearable quilted art — can be entered.
Entry forms must be submitted, along with a photo of the quilt to be displayed, by July 10.
Entered quilts and quilted items must be dropped off at JHS’s north entrance between 9 a.m. and 1 p.m. July 23. They must be picked up between 5 and 6 p.m. July 25, again at JHS’s north entrance. Claim checks are required to pick up a quilt.
Viewers’ choice awards will be presented.
Organizers also are looking for old and antique quilts — those at least 50 years old — for the show’s bed-turning program. Entry forms also are required to submit a quilt for the bed turning.
Copies of the entry form are available on the River Country Quilt Show’s Facebook page. For other questions, email Pam Farmer, display chairman, at sewsweetqs@hotmail.com
